I am Sumer Dabby, a Shopify Expert and Shopify App Developer in Mohali, Punjab, India. Five-plus years shipping conversion-focused stores: custom Liquid themes, private Shopify apps on Remix, and the MERN platforms behind them. How an engagement usually runs
Week one is the live store, the markets, and the gap: theme, app, or both. I will say if a purchased theme plus settings is enough — that is cheaper for you and I would rather not invent work. If it is a build, you get a written scope with the sections, apps, Markets setup and what is out. Then Liquid and Remix land against a staging theme or a development store, not against production on a Friday.
Migrations of 50K+ products are a separate conversation: redirects, metafields, variant structure, and a freeze window. I have done those without taking the live store down. Performance work is usually an existing store that accumulated apps; I profile, cut what is not earning its script budget, and leave you a list of what I will not touch because it is a paid app's problem.
